Who are we?
Starters of Dierenkliniek Kleiweg are veterinarians Jaap Vestjens en Felix van Straaten.
We believe that with our independent veterinarian clinic we can add a lot to the care for pets in our region.
We both have a lot of experience as veterinarians and are ready for this new adventure. We would love to help you find the treatment that fits you and your pet the best.
What do we do?
We can help you with both first line veterinary care as well as with more advanced procedures.
Regarding first line veterinary care you can think about vaccinations, microchip placement, prevention of parasites, but also consultations with your sick pet or surgeries like castrations and sterilisations.
Luckily we also have the experience and equipment to perform more advanced procedures. For example laparoscopic procedures where we perform a minimally invasive surgery with a camera. Also we can do orthopedic surgeries like patella-luxation surgery, cruciate ligament rupture surgery or fracture repairs.
Besides that we have a well-equipped space for dentistry. Here we can clean and polish the teeth, make dental radiographs and perform extractions.
In our internal laboratory we can do a lot of analysis in-house. For uncommon analyses we work together with a reliable external laboratory.
Regarding medical imaging we have good equipment to perform ultrasounds as well as radiographs.
If your own veterinarian is not equipped to perform any of these procedures he or she can refer your pet to us. We will discuss the treatments and results with you and also send a report to your own veterinarian.
